Come and join us on a tour to the highlights of the Cathedral of Bern, such as the main portal with the good and the bad, the precious stained glass windows of the 15th century and the 87 saints that survived the reformation in 1528.

Guided tour of the tower

Do you know what the tower of Pisa has in common with the tower of Berne? What was the purpose of the numerous gargoyles on the Cathedral and what happens to the poor monk in purgatory?

On the way up we take a little rest in the bell chamber, where you can see and even touch the heaviest bells of Switzerland. You will hear a lot of interesting stories about the weighty Susanna and the clapper catchers.

To crown the tour, you will climb to the top and enjoy the wonderful view over the city.

Little tour of the bells and apéritif on the top

Join us on a sporty climb to the top of the tallest steeple in Switzerland and enjoy a rest on the way up in the bell chambers, where you can see and even touch the heaviest and most important bells of Switzerland. You will hear a lot of interesting stories, about the weighty Susanna, the bell Stradivari, the bell ringers and clapper catchers. After climbing the 254 steps to the top, enjoy the exquisit evening atmosphere with a glass of hot wine, high above the roof tops of Berne.
